Sorry for the delay. I meant to write this out and post it a week ago, but I got laid off from my job a few days ago. However, I am pleased as punch with how my Yukata turned out. It makes me happy to look at it. So here she is!

Infusible Ink Flowers
I was SO scared this would not work. However, I can say I am SO HAPPY with how they look. It's spot on...except for one sleeve where I used the wrong green for the scattered leaves. 😖 It did help that I got the heat press.

Heko Obi
To be honest I am already a bit worried about the heko obi. I serged it and I already had to redo the seams on my sewing machine due to little tears. I really should have learned more about sewing gauzy fabrics. Otherwise, it does match the character perfectly!

Things to Improve
Like a dingus, I had written that I would use a microtex 70 needle and instead I used universal 80 for the yukata. That was the wrong needle and it made some big holes when I had to rip and redo a seam. 😬😬
The serger was okay for the center back seam but I prefer how a french seam works. HOWEVER, I LOVED using a narrow serged edge for the sleeve openings. It really helped make hemming much easier. So I think for future kimono, I will serge the sleeve openings before hemming if possible.
I need to practice wearing a yukata....I know I'm doing it wrong. But it does fit right.

Me wearing it just to test. |
Currently, I am sewing Obi belts. 2 Nagoya obi and 1 hanhaba. I'm not sure what kind of obi to make with the other fabric I got. It's a super cute cat themed cotton.
